Summer break! This magical time of year promises endless possibilities. Sometimes it’s pure bliss, filled with beautiful adventures. Other times, it’s stretched with boredom, leaving you wondering what to do with all that free time. But this summer? It definitely leaned towards bliss—thanks to one incredible, month-long adventure!
My trip to Malaysia was the highlight of my summer break, even though it lasted only a month. Enchanting and beautiful, it was also truly unforgettable. We stayed in a fantastic apartment in Kuala Lumpur, which became our launching pad for exploration.
The Aquarium in KLCC was one of the most captivating experiences for me, especially because of my interest in sea creatures. We also ventured out to the cool, refreshing air of Genting Highlands, and later to the lush tea plantations of Cameron Highlands. There, we picked our own strawberries and strolled through flower gardens bursting with thousands of blooms—some even growing up the walls, transforming the place into a floral wonderland.
A quick two-day trip to Langkawi at the end of our journey was arguably the most fascinating part. We soaked in the gentle sea waves on its breathtaking beaches, creating memories that will stay with me forever.
As the trip came to an end, I felt nothing but gratitude. I was truly thankful to Allah (SWT) for all His blessings and for making this wonderful journey possible.
“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best.”
(Qur’an 16:125)
